"Elly."
It had only been her name on his lips, and the blonde had felt that familar trill of fear trip up her spine as she whirled around plastered herself against the wall. Her journals clattered to the floor and made suck a racket that it practiacally reverberated down the halls like an echo as she made a high pitched keen in the back of her throat like a frightened animal. Why? Why was he here? Last she'd heard, Collin had gone home after an incident involving Blake and a fight in the Common Room--so why was he STILL HERE?!
Her brother tilted his head at her as if gazing at a butterfly pinned to the wall and she swallowed around the fear lodged in her throat. Other than the healing cut mirroring her own above his own eyebrow, he looked just as impeccable as he had the day she was taken out of court and sent here: the epitome of the concerned older brother of an unbalanced, delinquent little sister and all around golden child. Even if she had spilled what he had done to her, who would have believed such an upstanding young man could be such a monster? Who would believe the poor little delinquent girl who had lashed out just for attention?
No one, she thought grimly when he advanced on her and plucked one of her journals from the ground.
"Still living in fairytales I see," he hummed as she paged through the bound book, frowing at the strangely lyrical way his sister wrote. Admittedly he was impressed with her skill, but he would never tell her that; she would always be poor, stupid Elly whom nobody wanted or cared about. And by the looks of her face, it was still true. Collin made a sort of 'tsking' sound and dropped the book like it smelled bad. "Why're you still pretending ta be somethin' you're not?"
She wanted to say something biting, oh god she did, but that stupid lump in her throat kept her from it and she tried to press herself in the wall even more when he continued his advance. It was almost hysterically funny how Elly, who wasn't even afraid of Dis and his psychotic episodes or Blake and her mental breaks, was terrified of this poncy arse in front of her. Her head shook itself at him and she squeazed her eyes shut.
'If I can't see him, he isn't here.' The mantra had done little to soothe her in the past, but maybe he wouldn't get close enough for it to fail?
The hot breath on her face only confirmed her fears and she didn't need to open her eyes to know he had her caged between his arms. She shivered under his scrutiny.
Collin sighed. "Still as useless as always," he sighed, as if he blamed himself. she knew better. "Ma an' Da were hopin' for so much more out 'o your rehabilitation here, but I see it was for naught. Guess you'll never mean anything to them."
Elly choked on another sob but was unable to keep the tears at bay as they slid down her cheeks in hot rivers. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt a hot tongue lave up her cheek to plant a kiss on the developing scar going through her eyebrow. It was almost instinctual to snap her eyes open and stare at him with unmitigated horror at the strange gesture of tenderness.
"And I see you let someone else hurt you," he scolded. Elly felt like she was ten all over again and it was the night the whole nightmare began; cold, dark, and so very alone. No one would come if she screamed, and she knew it. "That wasn't very nice of you. You still belong to me after all. What a bad girl you've been--I'll bet you let someone else touch you too."
The teen shook her head again. "Don't," she whispered hoarsely.
He ignored her and slid a hand down the side of her face and over her lips. "Did you let them kiss you?" he leaned in closer and she yelped when he nipped her lower lip. "Hold you? Fuck you? You know what happens when you let others do that right." It wasn't a question and that hand trailed down her neck, over her breasts, to rest on her hip and pull her closer. It's twin fisted itself in her hair and pulled her forward until she was flush against him and trapped against the wall; there was no escape. "Shall I remind you?"
His lips were on her's before she could raise anymore protest.
