WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY?
My most fond memory is dancing with my sister. Our father owns a ballroom dancing studio and when we weren’t taking lessons we would frequently go with him to his studio and watch. Lessons were always long and he generally taught more than five classes a day, so we always had to find way to entertain ourselves until dinnertime. Well sometimes my sister and I would venture into one of the empty rooms at the end of the hallway and there we would practice our steps together. She would always play the male, who in ballroom dancing leads, even if I was the elder, and I would always take the women’s role. We’d have so much fun together just being silly and we would often place our dances in the context of a story which we would act out with both a studious seriousness and a lighthearted air. I was either the daughter of an aristocrat, or a princess, or some sort of hidden royalty and she would generally play a young prince or a dashing gentleman that had come to woo me. Those times when I was close to her linger in my memory the strongest and bring me the most joy and the most sadness.
WHAT IS YOUR WORST MEMORY?
My worst memory is more like a series of events as opposed to one individual occurrence, but I can at least remember when it all started. I remember when I first caught my sister doing pot behind the dance studio with a few of the other girls. Yelling, I walked over and threw the joint on the ground and with a sharp look from me the other girls scattered. It was cleat they were ashamed. However, my sister didn’t seem the least bit worried. In fact during my whole lecture she merely rolled her eyes and told me it was none of my business. I figured that after that she’d be fine and that it me catching her would be enough for her to never do it again. But I was wrong. From there it just got worse and worse. The drugs became more and more frequent and then more and more powerful and eventually they took her to where she is today…wherever that is, exactly.
TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF!
[/li][li]ocd && particular - Angelique can’t stand a mess, and she especially can’t deal when things are out of place. Though not actually diagnosed anyone who observed her for an extended amount of time would assume that Angelique was the victim of a nasty case of OCD. She prefers to have things in order and even as a child her room was always spotless. All of this comes from Angelique’s eye for detail. Her ability to focus has also led her to become an excellent cook, a sharp and classic dresser as well as an amazing interior decorator. Her finicky habits are probably part of why she finds home economics so appealing as a subject. Despite her clumsiness there’s not a home-related task that she can’t do or complete with the utmost skill and flair. Need your weeds pulled? Angelique’s got it. What about laundry? It’s absolutely no problem. For any traditionalist, Angelique would be the ideal 1960’s housewife.
[/li][li]ditsy && clumsy - Angelique’s left hand is always covered in band aids. There’s a reason for this though and that’s because Angelique is a certified klutz. As the Home Economics she frequently handles knives and always managed to cut herself. Her dad often consist of several incidences of bumping in walls, knocking people over, and falling down stairs. If there’s a chandelier hanging a little too low Angelique is guaranteed to hit it. Her clumsiness is so bad that often when she was younger her parents would put the most expensive objects way out of her range so that there was no chance the valuables would be marred or shattered. Her lack of grace has gotten better over the years, but it tends to become a bit more prominent whenever she is nervous or super excited. However, she’s never seriously injured anyone…yet.
[/li][li]stubborn && determined - Though Angelique is known as kind soul, when she has a mission absolutely nothing will get in her way. She’s not outright violent and even detest it, but if she wants something she will pry, even if it annoys those around her. Still, her determinedness is almost always out of good will or concern for someone else. She is the epitome of the type who only wants to help and never ever gives up. Her stubbornness is one of her key traits that brought her to this school in the first place. Possessing a deep passion for doing the right thing, Angelique has decided that she will stop at nothing to help and protect the students of Ridgestone and it’s a task she doesn’t take lightly. Her inspiration for this goal stems from the tribulations she and her family faced due to her younger sister, who is the ideal Ridgestone delinquent. In Angelique’s mind all of the teenagers of Ridgestone are family regardless of how well she knows them or not and she hopes that through showing them that she cares she can help each and everyone.
[/li][li]romantic && sensitive - At heart Angelique is a pure romantic. While it may not be apparent as first, as she tends to keep her deepest feelings hidden by her visage of clumsiness, the one thing she wants most in life is to fall in love. However she thinks people will find her silly for this idealist view and often hides it from other. The truth is though that she has constantly finds her thinking about love and often fantasizes about what it would be like to get married and have a lover. Her preoccupation with love has drawn her to develop a keen interest in romance novels, many on the erotic side, but very good luck getting her to admit it. If anyone ever called her out on it she’d turned bright pink in a heartbeat. In fact, whenever the topic of sex comes up she finds herself absolutely flustered and tries unskillfully to change the subject.
[/li][li]appearance - Angelique carries herself well and her steps are very light, almost as if she isn’t touching the ground at all. It’s almost as if she is always skipping and she moves with the hurriedness of a person who always has somewhere very important to go. And as she does so her springy and curly dark brown hair always seems to bounce about her. She always look luminescent and Angelique’s skin can be described as a smooth milky tan and it always seems to have a summer glow about it. Large eyes dark-lashed eyes always wide, they either look innocent, confused, gentle or all three. Angelique’s frame can be described as curvy, her waist being smaller in proportions to her lower and top halves and her figure is very feminine, like a small hourglass. Her legs are very long and lean, yet rather toned from all her dancing. In short Angelique can only be described as beautiful, one of the rare cases in the world where both outer beauty and inner beauty correspond in a positive light. [/size]

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PAST!
Angelique’s childhood couldn’t really be called traumatic. With the exception of a few bumps in her life, her home life overall was fine. Born to a very loving and artistic stay-at-home mother by the name of Rosalie-Marie Eloïse Carrington and a passionate ballroom dancer father by the name of Clovis Christophe Carrington, Angelique received more than her share of love and affection. Two years after Angelique was born, the circle was strengthened by the birth of her younger sister Jocelyn-Marie Jolie Carrington. Though Angelique’s parents were a strong influence on her life, her mother teaching compassion and her how to take care of a household, and her father teachering her persereanece and developing her incredible dancing abilities, no one had as much influence on Angelique as her sister Jocelyn.
From even before the time that both Jocelyn and Angelique could read or write or speak in complete sentences, the two had been very close. For example, their mother, not immediately being able purchase a new crib for Jocelyn, had decided to just let her youngest sleep in the same crib as Angelique. Only after a few months when the family could acquire appropriate bedding arrangements of the two of them, when Angelique’s mother tried to remove Jocelyn, Angelique started crying furiously. Yet she quickly became quiet as soon as her baby sister was placed snugly back beside her. It was clear that the two would grow to be unseperable.
And they did. Angelique cared for Jocelyn the way an older sister was supposed too. Even teaching her how to ride a bike, and fasten her shoes. The two girls both took ballroom dance lessons under the instruction of their father, and in their free time, Angelique was happy to help Jocelyn improve her technique. They literally did everything together, from shopping to running around to visiting the small shops in their town where often store owners would pass out free samples of candy and bonbons. On the soft grass in the summer they spent their days by the lake feeding the swans away from other kids their age. It was very clear that they loved each other, but not in a romantic way, more so in a way that only close friends could. They were more than flesh and blood.
However, this serenity and happiness could not go on. Soon both girls started school and that seemed to be where it all changed for the two of them. Angelique, from a very early age was that star student, the kind the teachers passed out gold stars too and always praised. Jocelyn took a different path. She was the one teachers whispered about, the student that no one wanted to have. She refused to pay attention, she refused to her work and she talked back. But still, the relationship between Angelique and Jocelyn endured through their elementary years. It was in their pre-teen years that their intense bond became so strained. They associated with different crowds. Still, Angelique loved her sister and for her that would never changed. But it seemed to change for Jocelyn, when one day Angelique waved at her and Jocelyn looked at her and turned away. That action was enough for the steel chain that linked them together to slowly start to rust and even Angelique could see that the link was buckling under the pressure.
And it finally broke. One day Angelique caught Jocelyn smoking pot and she figured that they would move past it, but they never did. Jocelyn became deeply involved in a partying-type lifestyle. The drugs became harder and harder and one of the few things she cared about, as well as sex, lots of sex. Angelique couldn’t count the number of times her parents scolded Jocelyn for sneaking out at night or sneaking, not boys but men into the house. Also Jocelyn’s grades slipped, she was fighting at school and she was always in the principal’s office. Eventually she was expelled for bringing a knife to school. And all of it, Angelique just watched all of it with much complaint. She’d gently try to steer her sister in a better direction all the while doing everything she could to bail her out of trouble. Then one day, Angelique got tired of it and she told Jocelyn so. She told Jocelyn how she was breaking their family apart, how much Jocelyn was hurting her and shattering her heart. She asked her if she cared. And all Jocelyn said was “No.”
That night was the night Jocelyn left. She took as much of her stuff as she possibly could and when Angelique woke up in the morning to check on her before her sister woke (as she always did) the girl was gone. All Angelique could do was cry.
A rift was formed in her family then, a rift that can never fully be healed. For a while Angelique blamed herself, but eventually all of them were able to find their own ways to deal and move past it. Angelique continued doing well in school and was even the valedictorian. She eventually went to a culinary arts school and her degree there. However, she could not forget Jocelyn, who still refused to show herself. The thought of Jocelyn inspired his fire inside of Angelique, this desire to help and to cure, and so she came here. It’s become Angelique’s goal to help troubled kids and at Ridgestone it’s precisely what she intends to do. If she can just help one kid, then in her heart she knows she’s done her job. .
