"These twists and turns of fate, time falls away, in these small hours, these small hours, still remain." Ashton sang softly along to the music, sitting in front of the easel, hair pulled back into a small ponytail. He sighed softly, working on the picture. His Ihome continued to play the song off his black ipod. Rob Thomas was one of his favorite singers. He worked on mixing the colors together on the palate. He smiled wide when he got the right shade of green. He gently pressed his brush into the paint, then moved it to the section.
He made sure those eyes were the piercing green he remembered. The reference picture was right beside him, making sure he got all the right shades. Most people said he was in love with a ghost...not to him. She wasn't a ghost...she was an angel. An angel he never wanted to forget. He still remembered the warmth of her embrace and how she naturally smelled of Lillie's and Babies breath.
He smiled softly, but winced when he moved a wrong way. Oh yes...those marks Kagi had left still hurt. They were still angry, red reminders of why he dislike the man. It wasn't just the sexual torture he'd suffered from the other, but it was the insults. He gripped the paint pallet and brush tightly in his hand. He tried to calm himself, but eventually it all came crashing down. He threw the paint pallet against the wall and it splattered, making a huge mess.
"Damn it!" he screamed. He hoped that Kagi suffered for the way he had acted toward him. He sighed and rubbed his temples. "Relax Ashton...Relax." he said sighing. "I need to relax."
Let it go
Let it run right off your shoulders
Don't ya know
The hardest part is over
Let it in
Let your clarity define you in the end
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
