There wasnt a single person in the room at the moment. The sound of crackling fire in the fire place was the only noise. Except for soft breathing. Now most people thought him a girl, and sleeping like this he looked like one too. Soft face, long lashes spread across his cheeks gently, lips slightly parted. Oh yes Ashton was definitely feminine. His arm was currently laying across his abdomen as he laid on one of the couches. One leg hanging off the edge as well as the other arm. A book laid fallen on the floor since he had fallen asleep while reading. It was a surprise the boy hadnt woken up yet. Maybe this place was just too peaceful for them to come up. For them to wreck his mind anymore.
The boy rolled over so he could curl up a little bringing both his arm and leg onto the couch as well. Letting out a soft yawn. Some of his brown hair fell in his face, immediately turning into some stray curls. If someone didnt think Ashton was a girl right now it would be very amusing. Almost everyone he met had thought of him as a female...which really pissed him off. Maybe it was just the fact most of today's society are morons. The boy curled up more on his side and rolled so his back was facing the fireplace. He looked so content and peaceful right now. But he knew that wouldnt last long though in a place like this. A few moments later he rolled back onto his back for the second time that day. His book still discarded on the floor.
He soon found himself coming in and out of consciousness. Like when you first wake up in the morning and the body doesnt respond first but your mind does. But he was still groggy as he moved some of his fingers a little to get rid of the tingling feeling. His mind was saying go back to sleep while the other side of his mind told him to get up.

Blake had been wandering around, bored and looking for something to do to entertain herself. Going outside wasn't an option right now because she simply wanted to be around people, not away from them. Seeking the comfort of their numbers, so she was stuck here wandering the halls, trying to find someone's presence. Someone in a room where she could be as well, which was why she was even here in the first place. Normally, no one was around here, but she thought she'd try her luck anyways with it, maybe she'd get lucky.
Blake bit her lower lip before quietly easing the door open, poking her head around the frame as she scanned the room, almost missing the girlish looking boy. For Blake, it had been easy to tell that he was a boy, not a girl as people assumed. Mannerisms and the set of body was what gave it away as well as watching Sano hit on the boy had been quite amusing as well. Of course, amusement had been far from her mind when Sano had turned those charms on her, but that had ended rather quickly, to the desired end of both parties, or what seemed to be the desired end.
Brushing her hand over her neck, she shook her head before slipping into the room, banishing the thoughts as she padded silently over to the boy, kneeling down to pick up the book before looking at his tired state. "Hey babe, you should get up," she said softly, kneeling down to his level. "Unless you want me to get Sano to wake you up," she teased, her voice gentle as she kept it soft as well, her more caring side coming out.
Blake just liked to take care of people and it showed, even if she argued with someone right off the bat, she would still look out for them unless they really did piss her off, but now the boy in front of her was just another person who was in a bad place, much like she was.

His mind was still hazey when he heard the voice. It took him a few moments to realize who was speaking. It was a female voice. Oh what was it what was it!? Blair....Blaze.....Blake? Blake! That was it! Blake! He would have just preferred to go back to sleep and ignore her, but when she brought the other male he had met into it well that made his cheeks flame and caused him to open an eye. He stared at the female for a moment then yawned sitting up. "What do you want?" He asked with a loud yawn.
He rubbed his eye before laying back down, neck stiff and shoulders sore. His cheeks were still very red at the mention of the other man. He'd have to get even some how. Just all in timing and in plotting. Oh yes Ashton would get even for the man flirting with him like that...and calling him princess. That really infuriated him. He scanned the girl over once more. "I thought you and Dis would have been having more fun." he muttered shrugging his shoulders before wincing. He took his book back from the girl and held it close to him.
He looked down and noticed his bookmark had fallen out. He reached down to the floor and then replaced it where it had been before. He yawned once more, the rest of himself finally waking up more. His mind was still wishy washy but that could easily be fixed. Ashton moved some of his hair from his face, glad that the burning in his cheeks had calmed down a little. Probably meaning the blush was going down. Now to make sure nothing embarrassed him and to make sure it stayed that way. He hated when people got the upper hand over him. Made him feel inferior and childish.

Blake rolled her eyes, clearly amused by the smaller boy before standing and stretching. "Nah, he went off with Era and I had fun with your prince," she said, more to see if she would get a reaction out of him. "And by the looks of things, you either really really like him or he gets to you that badly and you want to plot revenge. Or it could just be hot in here, if we're going by the color in your cheeks," she finished with a wink before stepping back and propping a hand on her hip, pretending to examine her nails.
She blinked once, more watching the young boy curiously as she tilted her head to the side. "So, Ashy, why exactly are you here?" she asked bluntly, deciding to get her curiosity out of the way. When Blake was curious, she wanted answers and very rarely stopped until she got the answer she was looking for, or the truth, whichever came first and sounded right to her.
Brushing some hair behind her ear, she let her eyes leave the prone frame of Ashton before looking around the room, taking each minute detail of the drawing room as she waited for Ashton's responses to her rapid line of thought, or for the boy to get fed up and leave, which he did often. Unless there was violence threatened then Blake would fight. Having a quick temper sucked, but having quick fists to back up your temper was pretty awesome, or kick-ass as she used to say.
She bit on her lower lip before deciding that she was going to walk around the room, examining everything in closer detail as she waited for answers to her curiosities. "So, Ashton, which is it? You like Sano, you hate Sano or it's hot in here?"

Ashton gave an annoyed look at the girl. One reason he wasn't as drawn to females as he should. His face turned deeper red color. "I-I do not like Sano! I-I hardly know him!" he yelled his voice cracking in a few places. He gave an annoyed look at the girl. She had no business knowing why he was here. It was due to an accident and he didn't deserve this. But damn his father for ratting him out to the cops. When he saw the man again he was gonna sock him in the face.
"Why I'm here is none of your business. I don't pry into your personal things and you shouldn't pry into mine." he said annoyed. Typical female, she wasn't that different from his sisters. He watched as she looked around the room inspecting everything. He fiddled with the end of the bookmark that was sticking out of the book he was reading. He'd been in the process of an English project and had chosen the book "Othello" by William Shakespeare. He'd seen the play earlier in the fall when his theater class when to see it.
Normally a child would stop reading the book or doing the project when they werent at the school anymore but Ashton had gotten too into it and too into the book. The original english speaking and text amazed him. Sometimes he actually found himself reciting a few of the words from the play itself. Lke when Iago was describing his plot to kill Othello. Oh it was amazing. That speech had to have been his favorite segments out of all the play. Or when Othello is reciting his thoughts of Desdemona before he kills her.
Such passion and fury in the words. He shook it from his mind and looked back at the girl. "What do you want? You're obviously bugging me for some reason." he said.

Blake merely arched an eyebrow at Ashton before shrugging as her fingers trailed over the spines of the books, taking her time answering, studying each and every book that her fingers trailed over, memorizing the patterns of the books and each impression they left on her touch.
"Maybe I'm just bored or wondering why you keep turning red whenever I bring up my dear neighbor," she said, eyes darting back to the boy on the couch, almost as if she were circling her prey. "Or seeing why you like looking like a girl yet get upset whenever anyone calls you a girl. Have you tried just going ahead and cross-dressing? I'm sure you'd fit into some of my clothes. You'd make a hot chick," she finished with a wink before coming back to stand in front of the couch on the opposite side of the room.
There was no doubt that Blake was a strange one, always curious about those around her but never really revealing anything about her, except why she was here. "And I'm here on Murder charges, kiddo," she said casually, as if she'd asked him which book he was reading. "Nothing too big."
She turned again, making another circuit around the room, stopping more frequently to examine books on the higher shelves, out of her reach, seeing if any peaked her interest to come back and look later. Admittedly most of what was in here was junk, stuff for visitors if anyone bothered coming up here at all, Alaska was fucking cold. She turned back to regard Ashton over one shoulder and blinked a long, lazy, slow blink at him, telling him she wouldn't buy his excuses.
"So either you like him or you hate him and need to get back at him, pick one, ducky."

He gave her a glare. "You'd have to force me into any damn female clothing. When I was little my sisters made me play dress up with them. I don't intend on re living those memories anytime soon thank you. Besides knowing my luck I'd end up getting molested by someone here at the school." he said with a glare. He turned away from the girl again huffing. "I have no reason to like him, nor to want revenge." he blinked. "Murder? Damn the guy must have done something really bad." he muttered. He nodded. "Yeah it's a good one." he said smiling.
He watched the girl walk around the room some. He was annoyed. He'd been enjoying his nap and would have liked to continue it but now that she had him up it would be difficult to get him back to sleep. Plus knowing his luck if he fell back asleep she might kidnap him then he might wake up dressed in some girl clothing. He couldn't help but scoff. "Cross dressing. I'd never even think of such a thing. I'm a boy god damn it not some fluffy little annoying girl." he muttered. He then turned to face her. "I don't look like a girl. Stop saying I do already!" he yelled annoyed. She was beginning to piss him off.
He turned back around and faced the fireplace. He watched the flames go up and down. He soon found himself reliving the night he burned the house down. He remembered watching it go up in smoke, hearing his father screaming in agony. Running when he heard the sirens. He shook his head and thought of something else. In the process turning his head away from the flames. No! He had no regrets he was not sorry and never would be. The man deserved it.

Blake shrugged and looked up at the sky. "They charged me with three but I only shot two. It takes a fucked up child to kill their own family doesn't it?" she asked, more to herself with a wry twist of lips. Blake wasn't the only one with bad memories, far from it, but few expected the wisp of a girl to actually have been able to kill her own parents, her entire family and leaving her with nothing.
"Then I guess you'll just have to sit here. When I left my room, Sano said he'd be coming up here sometime in the afternoon," she said, turning to face Ashton, more to see a reaction than anything else or any real reasoning. She'd found a way to tease Ashton and while she had no hard feelings for the kid, he made it too easy. "Toughen up and get a thick skin. You're here now and screaming like a little girl isn't going to do shit, so back up your words or shut up," she said, a patient smile on her face.
Something she had been told a long time ago and she had chosen to shut up, especially when confronted with her mother who enjoyed breaking her daughter down into nothing and then bringing her back up, a cycle that repeated but always found new ways to be reborn, like the Phoenix from the ashes. She shook her head, shrugging her shoulders before she turned away.
"Then again, it's always up to you how you're going to live your life," Blake murmured, her eyes lost focus for a second as if she were looking and listening to something else in the room that wasn't Ashton or the fire, something darker.

Ashton huffed with an annoyed sound. "I don't care of he comes up here. He has every right to do what he wants. You bring him up a lot don't you." he smirked. Oh payback was coming. "Could it be....you have a CRUSH on him." he said smirking. Ashton was really asking for it today. Having two older sisters means that you can tell when a girl might like a guy. After all, he stole their dairies once and used it as blackmail. God he got in so much trouble for that. His sisters even snuck into the boys locker room once and changed his clothing to a really girly and frilly dress. He'd been both laughed at and flirted with. The councilors and teachers even talked to him about lifestyles.
He was furious with his sisters for that but didn't try stealing their things again. At least not for a good while. He looked over to the girl and waited to watch her reaction. f she acted flustered then it would amuse the hell out of him. If not, then well it was worth a shot right? He let out a small yawn and stood leaning backwards stretching his back. He did need to control his temper. But when he was annoyed he did things without thinking them through fully.
"Why'd you say I'd have to sit and wait for? I could easily walk out the room if I wanted to." he said looking the girl up and down again. If she was gonna keep beating around the bush then he was gonna take his book and go read somewhere else. He still had the stolen key to the roof. Maybe he could go up there and read for a little while.
