It was late in the afternoon that day. Classes were over, and many of the students had decided to turn into their dorm rooms in order to either study, play games, or whatever it was the others decided to do around here. However, for Ame Aoi Odayaka, or 'Sapphire' as he prefered to be called, he looked at this as an opportunity to get away from all of that and use this time to clear his mind of school, annoying people, and the naggy teachers alike. What would he be looking for in the Theater, you may be wondering? Well, you see, Sapphire aspires to become a performer one day. One who sings and dances for the entertainment of others. Not necessarily a Pop Star or anything like that, but close enough.
Anyhow, the young man, though extremely girly looking, was walking towards the center of the stage, looking around to make sure no one was there. He didn't exactly like the idea of people walking in on his practice sessions, and he didn't exactly like the idea of having an audience either. At least, not yet anyway. He'd been practicing this particular routine for a while now, and even though he practically had it down to a science, he still enjoyed doing it to clear his mind of certain things. Especially the fact that he was certain he'd spending his life here instead of the supposed three years he was given. But anyway, on to a more lightening thing.
Currently, Sapphire was dressed in a Gothic Lolita style, but with an asian twist. See, it starts out like a traditional kimono at the top, but towards the bottom, there is a red, pleated dress with black trim. Small red and white butterflies littered the front ends of the sleeves, giving off a bit more of peaceful element to balance out the darkness of black and red. Upon his feet, or which he was removing, were rather tall, platform-esque boots with many laces strewn about. However, since they were starting to become a pain for him to wear, he removed them so he could dance with ease.
As he set his shoes off to the side, he took hold of a boombox-esque stereo and set it up near the front of the stage, hitting the play button before walking back to the center. He stood there quietly at first, arms at his side, his body at a certain angle. Before long, he drew in a breath while raising his arms at the same moment. Before long, he was singing with an almost angelic voice, his body making graceful motions that went perfectly in time with the music's tempo. In some aspects, it were almost as though the dance were interpretting a form of...how do you put it? Some motions suggested a playful tease, some suggested a bit of a controlling sense, others...well, others were just a teensy bit suggestive.
About three minutes since the routine started, it was already coming to a close. Sapphire with his back turned towards the seats, an arm outstretched towards the cieling as he sang out one final note, before twirling three times in place, then stopping with his arms held over his head, the music coming to a stop.
(Click here to see the dance, as I'm too lazy to give a full on detailed description.)
