Being new was one thing Ashton was not new to. Nope, not at all. But he was new to being turned into a convict. He didnt mean to shove the man into that damn heater. No it was a pure and utter accident on his part. But the man shouldnt have slapped him. Nor started yelling at him to start. He knew the man hated him so he didnt expect much from him. His mom wasn't even aware to what happened. He hadn't seen her since before he left for school the morning of the fire.
He missed Rae. Missed the guy so much his heart ached every time he thought of him. His heart hurt every time he saw someone who looked like him, but then turned out to be someone else. It was sad....He was miserable without him. The other always brought a smile to his face. Always making jokes about the smallest of things. Even if the other was a perfectionist. But that didn't matter anyway. Why should he care? He didn't like men like that at all...did he? He wasn't sure and he was so confused as it was. But that didn't matter at all. Nope! Not one bit! He was stuck in Alaska and that was that! Even if he hated cold weather.
"Looks like I'm just going to have to deal with it. Just grit my teeth and bare it. Beside's I've got beautiful scenery and such for drawing." he thought to himself as he continued walking up the winding staircase. Now he knew if he was caught he'd be in trouble. He'd swiped a key from one of the teachers when they weren't looking. He looked out one of the windows as he passed, stopping for a moment to let his mind wander and to soak in the view outside. Oh yes, it was beautiful, if not breathtaking. He let a small smile grace his features as a thoughtful look showed onto his face.
Celena would have loved it here. She would have enjoyed the view; the view of the mountains, the snow, the lake; the smell from the forest and the clear look in the sky. Oh yes, she would have." another thought echoed in his mind.
He then sat his small messenger bag down next to his foot on one of the steps, laying his arms on the sill before placing his chin on it and watching intently. Even if nothing where to pass, he was still watching. He enjoyed moments like this. When solitude was actually welcome. He didn't like people, and people didn't like him.
In his opinion there were two types of people. Two barriers to seperate those two types.
Him, and then "THEM". The soulless monsters out in the world who wore human skin to look normal. But Ashton was safer alone. He felt....better. Happier. It didn't make him feel self confident. That he wasn't good enough to be around anyone else. He sighed gently still, letting his eyes close in contentment before laying his head fully against his arms. This was his solitude and safety. Moments like this.
