Blake hummed quietly to herself in her dorm room, padding around in her underwear for the time being, clothing hugging her skin as music played from the iPod she had attached to her speakers. She occasionally sang a few snatches of the songs that came on as she ran her fingers through her hair, leaving it down for once so it trailed nearly to her midback, almost to her hips.
Bright eyes glanced around the room, it seemed to minimalist and impersonal if one took out her academic books and her music. The music was her life and she loved it and loved doing anything she could with it, even going to far as to have taken a few strip tease classes because it was good exercise. Of course that hadn't lasted long when Margaret found out and she'd been degraded and grounded for three weeks.
Shaking her head from the memories, she sang along with her songs as she slipped on a thin tank top and some form fitting pants, just relaxing in her room for the moment as she looked at her walls and empty surfaces. Blake had no stuffed animals, no pictures, nothing that would say a girl lived here, unless they went through her drawers and looked at her hand writing. It was almost depressing, but here she was actually sort of making friends, if playing strip poker with a hot guy counted.
She smiled slightly to herself at the memory, tapping a finger against her lips as she spun in a circle, singing along with her song, propping her door open slightly so she could see and hear anyone in the halls.

This place wasn't as bad as he had thought it would be, not in the slightest. The detention center... If you could even really call it that, was lush on both the inside and the outside. Dis was still in something of a shock from finding out that his bedroom wasn't going to be some depressing little bunk room that he had to share with several other boys. Instead it was a comfortable, reasonably sized and decorated room that he found himself growing to like. The best part was that he didn't have to share it.
It was all so different from what he expected, but in a good way. While he really had no idea what sort of thought process was behind putting troublemakers such as himself in such an upscale-seeming place, he had to admit that he liked it. The students that he had met so far were interesting enough, as well. While he had yet to learn their stories, none of them seemed to be the stupid kind of kids that would typically get into legal messes. Dis knew those types from experience... The kids who were smart enough to get themselves into trouble but not out of it, the kids who had gone stupid thanks to drug addictions... So far very few here fit those categories. He was sure that he'd eventually stumble across a few like that, but had thus far been pretty lucky. The little boy named Era might have fallen into that set, but he couldn't be sure. The boy, after all, was both foreign and might possibly have been seriously abused, judging by the way he spoke about his father.
Dis wandered on down the hallways of the dorms, exploring once again and getting his bearings in this place. He wanted to eventually learn every nook and cranny of the facility... If only so that he could find the best places to jump from and the most interesting avenues for scampering on the roof. As soon as he got his bearings here, Ridgestone would be his jungle gym.
As his feet wandered, so did his thoughts. The hot girl from the commons room last night had been a fun person to meet, and he had half a mind to get to know her better. She was here for murder, surprisingly enough. The little snip of a girl really didn't look like she had that kind of physical strength, but that's part of what intrigued this boy. She was smart, tough on several levels, and she knew how to have fun. He liked that.
A smirk about nothing in particular played on Dis' lips as he padded down the hallway, eyes picking over every detail in the walls and on the doors as he passed them. Barefoot as usual, provided that the floor was smooth, he took the time to squish his toes into the carpet just for the fun of it. Like most everything else here, the floor covering was lush. As pretty as it all was, he'd go insane if he didn't find someplace minimal to rest in before the week was over.
Down to his left, he noticed that a door was open. A figure pranced around inside, singing and passing too briefly by the opening for him to see who it was. Curious as to who it was, Dis stopped by the door, fist raised to knock if only to further announce his entrance. He couldn't help the thin smile that pulled his lips back when he realized that it was indeed Blake who was the vocalist and dancer. Dis couldn't quite determine if her dancing was really that good, since she was currently spinning in a circle, but it sure as hell was cute to watch. He leaned in the doorway and chuckled lightly, watching her briefly.
"You got a nice voice. Took classes?"

Blake spun quickly, a faint flush across her cheeks until she saw who it was standing in her doorway. Crossing her arms over her stomach, she cocked her head to the side, allowing a spill of hair to fall over her shoulders as a gentle smile spread over her lips before nodding, as if not wanting to interrupt the song before it's due time. She waved a hand, indicating he could come in if he really wanted to before she bounced over to her bed, jumping on it with a small giggle before settling down, brushing her hair out of her face.
"Yeah, I used to. I also play piano which helps, you have to know your notes and be able to match them when someone is humming them," she said, a small smile tilting her lips as she leaned back on the bed, allowing enough space for Dis to sit wherever he wanted to.
"So what brings you down to the C bunks, Dis?" she asked, her tone curious as she watched him, eyes trailing over his figure and noting bare feet with a quirk of her lips and a raising of her eyebrow as she bit on her bottom lip, watching him with intent blue eyes, almost curious as to what his answer would be and almost hoping for something a little darker than just a casual stroll. Blake had a tendency to want to disobey rules and bend them, seeing how far she could get before she broke them and someone ended up on the wrong side.
Of course there was a small detail that she wasn't going to share with anyone, having slept with her neighbor already even when he was jonesing for someone else and it was obvious that that someone else was at least a bit attracted to Sano. Blake forced down a smile at the odd yet interesting coupling of Ashton and Sano before focusing her attention on Dis again.
