Kuren's happiest memory must be when she got her first pet rat, Jenny. Jenny was a sweet rat. Got her when she just turned out. Kuren spoiled the rat and soon got another rat to play with her, whom she named Sasha. The rats got along well. They cuddled, played, swam together, etc... The rats were Kuren's world.
WHAT IS YOUR WORST MEMORY?
When the poor little ratties died. Rats don't have a long life expectancy. Only about 3-4 years at most. First Sasha died. Kuren made a little burrial ground for her. Jenny died a few weeks later, due to some idoit leaving her room window open out when she was at a sleepover. The room got too cold and poor little Jenny froze.

Personality section.
Kuren is generally, overall, a sweet girl. She gets along well with other students(at least, those she hasn't stolen from), and keeps quiet around teachers. She can be a little shy around people at first, but get past that side of her and she has a lot of energy to go around. She loves animals, but has a passion for rats. She finds them absolutely adorable and loves to play with them.

Kuren is a very 'clean' type of girl. She doesn't like to get dirty. She's not OCD, but she can't stand the sight of a messy room. She'll try to clean it as best as she can, even if it's not her own room. Kuren likes morning rituals. She's very reptetive with her 'morning routine' as she calls it. If one thing is out of place with her routine, her mind kind of freaks out about it.

Kuren likes to make her own clothing too. She'll often spend the late hours of the night, working on a new clothing project of hers. She fixes her own clothes as well. If she takes a nasty fall that day and ends up ripping her clothes because of the fall, she'll try to fix it as soon as she gets to a sewing machine, or can do it by hand. Kuren believes that sewing, by hand or machine, helps put her mind at ease. It's like her cigarette to people who smoke to calm themselves down.

Lovewise, Kuren loves her rats, her family, and girls....plus some boys. She considers herself 90% lesbian and 10% misc. Kuren finds girls just a lot cuter, and a lot better lips. Guy lips typically aren't as soft as girls. Not to mention, there's more to 'play with' with a woman then a man. Never the less, Kuren still has a soft spot for boys.

Kuren was born to a middle class family in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her mother wanted out of Russia asap though, thinking it wouldn't be a good environment for Kuren. Kuren was too young to remember this move. Her parents moved from Saint Petersburg to Canada ASAP. Kuren was only two years old.

Kuren grew up in Ontario, Canada, for most of her life. She was a quiet girl in school. Her parents didn't mind. She brought in the grades. She held a good B, sometimes B+ average. Kuren got her first rat when she was five, and has loved them ever since. This rat was Jenny. Jenny was a sweet rat. She was a curious creature, always investigating new things and showing no fear towards them...even if it was a large animal. Kuren trained her to come when she was called, to swim, and even to go on a harness-leash. When Kuren returned home from school, she often have Jenny a quick walk before getting started on her schoolwork.

Sasha was obtained a few week later. Sasha and Jenny got along great. The girl rats played together, slept by each other, groomed each other, etc... As though they were real sisters. Kuren loved watching them. Instead of playing with baby dolls, Kuren saw the rats as her children.

Sasha was the first to die. This occurred when Kuren was roughly nine. Sasha passed on from old age. This deeply saddened Kuren. Her parents offered to buy her another rat, but Kuren refused. She made a little burial ground in the backyard for Sasha. Kuren paid more attention to Jenny again, worried for her own health. Her grades began to falter slightly because Kuren was worried for Jenny. One of her friends offered to have a sleepover a few weeks after Sasha's death. Kuren wouldn't have accepted it, if she knew the consequences.

Jenny died that night. Winter was just beginning to set in, so the air was extremely cold. Much too cold for a lone rat. Someone forgot to close Kuren's window after opening it, thus, Jenny froze to death. Kuren came home the next morning to check on Jenny, only to find her little white body not moving. Kuren was devastated. She blamed herself ever since for not being there when her beloved first rattie died.

Kuren didn't get another rat for a long time. She wanted to keep her old rats memory in her mind. She has their pictures to remember them by. Sasha and Jenny are buried right next to each other. The french words for 'My Heart' and 'My Soul' are on their grave stones. The Heart one on Jenny's and the Soul one on Sasha's.

Kuren's grade soon picked up again. Kuren's mini depression only lasted a few months. Her grades remained at a steady C to C+ range. Her teachers were curious about her grade drop, but didn't speak up about it. Kuren began to have an eye for shiny things. Steal to fill the void were always the words circling in her mind. Kuren didn't steal anything though until she was twelve.

The stealing started small. A pencil, a piece of food at lunch, a one dollar bill from her parent's wallets. Gradually, it began to increase in numbers, and size. By the time Kuren was thirteen, she was stealing lunch boxes, jewelry (from her friends), necklaces(from her mother), make up, etc... Where did Kuren keep her stolen goods? Under her bed of course. Her parents gave up trying to clean her room when she was eleven, seeing she was 'big girl' and could do it herself.

Kuren was sent to the Alaskan institution when she was fifteen. Apparently someone figured out she stole...and stole....and stole....Kuren thinks one of her friends ratted her stash (no pwn intended), and thus she came here. She made friends without too much trouble...but her eyes for the shiny never failed her. Stealing is a hobby now for her.
