Kyung Ji is cheerful and kind to everyone, even if he doesn't know them. He is very easygoing and light-hearted, and has a carefree nature. Though Kyung Ji may seem kind of superficial and all, he's a pretty together guy, most ways, could do worse. He will however, do anything for food, since he is constantly hungry. Despite his optimistic and upbeat nature, Kyung Ji's more mature than his sister and is considerate to the thoughts of others, thinking things through and acting rationally. He cares deeply for his sister, whom he is still codependent on. He sometimes acts sarcastic, usually when he's having fun or just teasing. He's also a bit of a prankster; he likes to play harmless practical jokes on his friends.

He's smart and perceptive, often realizing things when it comes to others. He is gentle with everyone and is good-natured, always wanting to help those in trouble, regardless of gender, as a result he is unable to refuse a request from anyone. He is very loyal to and protective of his friends, and is a fun person to be around, but gets shy around any girl he really likes. He is also somewhat of a charmer and he seems to know exactly what to say, though he normally doesn't try to woo girls. He's also non-aggressive and almost always never gets angry, he doesn't like to fight unnecessarily, only if he has to, will he fight. On the rare moments he does get angry, it's usually a situation involving someone he cares deeply for or his friends and family.

Kyung Ji is tall and lanky, and because of all the soccer and martial arts he does, he is fit and has toned muscles covering his upper and lower body. Though it doesn't look like it, he is rather strong and agile, allowing him to sprint quickly for long distances and dodge easily. He is rather tall for an Asian kid, but it's not out of the ordinary. His arms are toned and slightly muscular, while they are not as strong as his legs, they are still strong. His skin is lightly tanned and his pectoral muscles are toned, leading down to his developed six-pack. His legs are toned and muscular, his legs have a lot of strength in them and pack more power than his arms.

Despite the large amount of food Kyung Ji eats daily, he seems to never gain any weight, and continues to maintain his normal body weight, even though he constantly says he's hungry. His face is average, nothing out of the ordinary. His dark brown eyes are the most distinct part of him, at first glance, they seem dark and mysterious, but if someone looks closer, they'll see his eyes are kind and gentle. He has both his ears pierced, two on each earlobe and one on each cartilage. On the back of his right shoulder, Kyung Ji has a tattoo that reads "too fast to live too young to die." Kyung Ji's hair is medium length and usually left alone or slighty spiky.

Kyung Ji's style of clothing tends to favor the slacker wardrobe, regardless of the weather outside and the event. He usually wears graphic or band t-shirts and wifebeaters, throwing a hoodie or a sweatshirt on top, and baggy to loose blue jeans. To Kyung-Ji, the type of shoes a person wears speaks volumes. As such, the boy has and wears Nike and Adidas shoes of various colors, less commonly seen wearing Converse shoes unless it's warmer weather. Besides his ear piercings, the only other accessories he wears are baseball caps and a triangular scarf tied around his neck.

There are two things Kyung Ji dislikes; alcohol, and the word "home." Let me explain why.

Kyung Ji was the first born and only son to a couple living in Seoul, South Korea. His father was an alcoholic and had a terrible temper, yet never thought of the family, and to top it off, he was the third boss of the most powerful Korean Mafia family in Seoul. His mother only cared about her husband and her image. As a result of his parents being away a lot of the time, Kyung Ji grew up being very independent, and relying on no one but himself. When his father was drunk, or in a bad mood, or he got in trouble, or all three, it was complete hell. His father's temper completely exploded, it was like Mt. Vesuvius had erupted once again. He remembered his father shouting at them as he trembled in front of him in fear, threatening to slap him if he ever did that again, and he would've, had a friend of his father's not drop in unexpectedly for a visit, only to immediately step in to stop his father and protect him.

Until Kyung Ji was caught and charged with theft just after he had begun his last year of high school, he was always with his friends, whether it was studying or just hanging out. When Kyung Ji was 10, one of his grandfather's friends, whom felt sympathy for Kyung Ji's current home life, taught Kyung Ji Taekwondo at the dojo he owned, so that he would be able to defend himself if necessary. Besides his home life, life was going pretty well, for the most part. He was somewhat popular, but he had a small group of close friends, and got good grades. Then the incident. When Kyung Ji was 12, his parents were at home, but Kyung Ji wasn't, since he was at the dojo. His parents were at home, just the two of them. Little did he know that that would be the last time he would see them again. Kyung Ji walked home from the dojo, Kyung Ji was acting like a martial artist actor, leaping around and kicking at pretend ninjas. As he turned the corner to his house, and walked down the sidewalk in front of the house, an explosion went off. Glass shards flew everywhere. He was knocked out, lying on the sidewalk, as the fire raged on, police and ambulances swarmed the place. He would awaken later in the hospital, only to learn from one of the policemen that his parents had died in the fire, unable to escape, the cause of the fire was most likely arson, though the police did not rule out a targeted hit on his father, as an investigation was underway. At this news, instead of crying, as expected, instead he just sat in his bed, a stoic expression on his face. Kyung Ji hated his parents, why would he shed tears for people that never cared about him?

Now that both his parents were gone and the gang members believed Kyung Ji had died in the fire with his parents, no one was left to take care of them, so Kyung Ji took care of himself while he still went to school. Since he couldn't access the money that was supposed to be left behind for him, he enrolled into a public high school, because he couldn't afford any other high school, and forcing Kyung Ji to become a thief, stealing food. And so Kyung Ji lived the life of a thief, not out of choice, but because he had too. The life he lived, was kept a secret and in the shadows, not even his friends knew what he did. On the day of his 15th birthday, his friends surprised Kyung Ji with a puppy they had adopted for him, Kyung Ji naming his puppy Jin. And then it happened. Kyung Ji was 15, and he was broke. He had no money, and he couldn't steal food forever. So one day, he walked into a bank, a ski mask over his face, and robbed the bank of their money. Well this time, unlike the other times he had stolen things, just as Kyung Ji ran out the doors, one of the security guards grew some balls and chased after him, managing to wrestle Kyung Ji to the ground and keep him there. He was caught. Kyung Ji was given a choice, go to Ridgestone Detention Facility or prison. Naturally, Kyung Ji choose the detention facility.
